CANIAHR Relieves the Burden Created By WTPA Pay Notice Requirements!

No, it's not an app, but CANIAHR can make complying with the annual Pay Notice requirement of New York State's Wage Theft Prevention Act ("WTPA") almost as easy as using an app!  (If you have no idea what the Pay Notice requirement or WTPA are...read on!)

The WTPA requires all employers in New York State to provide each employee with the appropriate Pay Notice form, in the employee's native language, each year between January 1st and February 1st.  This is in addition to the required Pay Notice that must be given to all new employees at the time of hire and to any employee when there is a change in his or her wage rate or employment status.

While the NYS Department of Labor does provide templates for each of the six different forms you may need to complete, these forms are only available in .PDF format and cannot be completed electronically. That means most employers will be printing the forms and completing each one by hand!
